Grand Seiko was introduced to the world in 2017, but before that, it had been making watches in Japan for decades. These original Japan-only watches can still be found pre-owned along with their worldwide counterparts. The Zaratsu polishing that goes into every watch, along with in-house manufacturing and traditional assembly methods, has earned Grand Seiko the devotion of a loyal following. The quartz watches that come from Grand Seiko can be as accurate as five seconds a year, and it would take 12 years before the watch would be off by just one minute. The Seasons Collection is being constantly refreshed to allow Grand Seiko to show off their dial-making skills, with dials that reflect different times of the year outside of their manufacturing facility in Japan.
