I’ve just returned from Sri Lanka and had an incredible time (27 April - 8 May)

Suren, our guide was amazing. Warm, open and hilarious and so enthusiastic to show and educate us about his beautiful country. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we literally didn’t have to think about a thing. There were loads of special touches that made the trip even more amazing. We stayed in some outstanding hotels and ate amazing rice and curry and other local dishes throughout. The Kottu was a highlight!

We had a wonderful group and have made some amazing new friends. Would highly recommend flashpack to anyone wanting a new experience. Prepare to be wow’d!

Only thing I’d change is potentially having a second night in Yala and another game drive, and less time in Galle. Other than that, perfect!

That being said, I can’t wait to revisit Sri Lanka and book my next flashpack trip.

Highly recommend Flashpack, I have used them for two trips so far, Wild Tanzania and Japan, both trips have been amazing, everything is so well organized and seamless, they arrange great activities that I would never think to partake in if travelling without them. I have booked another three trips with Flashpack. The tour leaders are wonder, the Flashpack team are super helpful and it attracts such great people. I have made some wonderful friends on the trips.

Honestly the best trip ever and Rupert and his Flash Pack team made every part of it exceed all expectations. It was my first Flash Pack experience and first solo travel trip ever - I was really quite apprehensive, but I was so fortunate to have such an amazing group and Rupert was so attentive, hilarious and always made sure “it’s OK” (you’ll understand when you meet him). Don’t hesitant to book this amazing trip. I already want to do it all over again x

What a trip!
Epic itinerary with great variety, a real “off the beaten track” vibe and the perfect balance of free time vs activities.
Ginto island is the most magical experience, the snorkeling with Nemo and the wonderful, unique islands we visited. El Nido and Bohol were all equally as brilliant and were a nice change from the island hopping!
What made our trip even more special was our INCREDIBLE 5* tour leader Rupert. He has a heart of gold, a fantastic sense of humour and ensured we had the most seamless of trips. He went out of his way to ensure we all ticked off our bucket list items and created such a wonderful atmosphere throughout our entire trip - it’s clear that for him, this is absolutely a vocation and not a “job”.
I cannot wait to return to the Philippines after this trip, it’s a very special place.

I cannot recommend Secret Vietnam enough - I had very high expectations given my love of SE Asia and Vietnamese food and history and this tour absolutely exceeded those expectations.

I loved the group format as a solo traveller and I met some fabulous people making it more meaningful to experience the trip together. The food, the local people we met, the hidden experiences, the frictionless transitions, the many types of transport, the trip structure were all thoughtful, insightful and fun. It wouldn’t have been anywhere near as amazing without Lee, our pack leader, who was so fun, warm, generous, knowledgable, very open to our many questions and has left a lasting impact on me.

I’m SO glad I bit the bullet and booked this trip - it really has been unforgettable!!

I had a good time but not a great time. The guide was lovely and I met some nice people but I think FlashPack is for a particular type of person that isn't really me. I'm fine solo travelling and making friends along the way is a very nice bonus. However, FlashPack seemed very intense on forcing friendships and a bit like a posh school trip. I and other people that appreciated a bit of down time or not having to explain their every move were questioned/made to feel like they weren't fully on board when it's totally natural to need some alone time on such intense and jam-packed trips. The price was also extortionate...I did look at room and activity rates as I was there and I would have saved a substantial amount by going without the company and still doing all the same things and even eating at the same places etc. Having said all of this there were many people on the trip who LOVED it. But they had all been on multiple FlashPacks/group tours before and seemed to love how everything was prearranged and the intensity of the schedules. The most enthusiastic members of the group also said they'd never travelled completely alone before...so circling back to my earlier point I think these trips are best for a certain type of person. This being someone who is affluent, doesn't like doing the planning themselves, is keen to make new friends and likes to follow a strict schedule and eating plan.

Where do i begin?! I was a little bit hesitant to travel in a large group as i had never done it before but it was the best decision i made!

Sri Lanka was amazing to say the least. The trip included a bit of everything and it's safe to say i enjoyed it all to the fullest. I met some wonderful people on the trip including our tour guide Suren. Suren was incredible from the beginning right to the end, nothing was ever too much. He was so knowledgeable, looked after all of us, made us giggle daily and gave us incredible knowledge of Sri Lanka. When i think of Sri Lanka now i think of Suren. He is a credit to Flash Pack and without him and our wonderful group, the trip would not have been what it was.

The trip was worth every penny, the amount we experienced and got see was second to none. Thank you Suren and Flash Pack for an unforgettable experience in beautiful Sri Lanka!

Secret Vietnam, an adventure of a lifetime! Although I am a great planner, there is no way I could have curated this itinerary as well as Flashpack did. Extra special thanks to our local guide Mr. Le who made the experience even better with his wealth of knowledge and fun loving and kind attitude. We went from North to South Vietnam, exploring both countryside and city life via bikes, mopeds, boats, trains and planes! From popular touristy spots to intimate local communities, this trip has an everything a traveler could want if especially if you want to maximize your experience. I am a first time Flashpacker and looking forward to my next one!

Just got back from Secret Vietnam. This trip exceeded all expectations. It was great from start to finish. Activities, tour guide Viet, group dynamics, and the FOOD were all perfect. I traveled with a friend from back home so we roomed together. It worked out perfectly, both of us blending in with the group both together and on our own. Book Secret Vietnam!

Absolutely loved my experience. My group and leader were both absolutely amazing, and there were so many activities we did that I feel there's no way I would have been able to do or even known about on my own. It felt like a real insiders-view of Bali. One thing to consider, and this was not a negative for me, but it seemed like we had significantly less down-time than I expected. Every day felt pretty full of great activities.

Just come home from Alternative Thailand, it was incredible, the pictures do not give it credit. Accommodation was outstanding, activities varied and well worth it! Pooky was an amazing pack leader who looked after us so well and made our time in Thailand so special! Everything well organised, it’s jam packed but you get to see so much!

I've just returned from my 8th Flash Pack trip (to Finland) and although that probably says it all I would say to anyone who isn't certain about booking, just go for it! I've met some really fun people on all my trips and had experiences that I just wouldn't have had on a solo trip. You won't regret it!

Just back from Alternative Thailand and I have to say my expectations were surpassed... the activities were so unique and really showcased this beautiful country. Our pack leader made everything run smoothly, not a hair out of place in terms of the coordination and logistics of getting around. Airport transfers provided by Flashpack were sorted well in advance and went fine. The itinerary was a busy one, but took full advantage of the time we had.

I recently embarked on my first flashpack trip to Vietnam, and I can confidently say that it was an experience I thoroughly enjoyed. As a solo male traveller in a group predominantly composed of women, I had some initial reservations. However, those concerns quickly dissipated as I got to know my fellow travellers.

Our tour guide, Lee, played a pivotal role in making this trip exceptional. Lee’s warm hospitality and genuine care for each individual ensured that we all had a fantastic time. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially when it came to dietary preferences. As a fussy eater, I appreciated his efforts to ensure everyone’s culinary requirements were met.

What truly set this trip apart were the carefully curated experiences. Lee’s local knowledge allowed us to explore authentic facets of Vietnam. From the bustling street food tour to serene historic sights, each destination was thoughtfully chosen. And the best part? Everything was meticulously planned. We simply had to show up in the hotel lobby at the designated times, and Lee seamlessly transported us to our next adventure. Despite my preference for relaxed holidays, I did not find this itinerary overly intense. The balance between exploration and leisure was just right.

In summary, my Secret Vietnam journey was a delightful blend of cultural immersion, camaraderie, and stress-free travel. Lee’s dedication and the well-crafted itinerary made it an unforgettable holiday. I highly recommend this trip to fellow travellers seeking an authentic and hassle-free experience in Vietnam.

What an epic trip!!! Just came back from Flashpack Philippines and couldn’t have asked for a better trip. All the activities were amazing including the private island. Accommodations were top notch and food was amazing. Loved the amazing people I met and made life long friends. Rey our guide was amazing and kept everything organized and we really connected. He is a very personable and one of my favorite guides. If you haven’t done Flashpack yet or are on the fence, Philipinnes is a great choice. Highly Recommended, it will change your life. I know Flashpack changed mine!!!!

I recently returned from the Flash Pack Sri Lanka tour and already find myself yearning to go back to this incredible country. My experience was made all the more special by our fantastic guide, Suren, and using Flash Pack as the tour company. From beginning to end, every detail of the trip was meticulously planned—we didn't have to lift a finger or think about anything beyond our meeting times.

Initially, I was worried about sticking to a strict itinerary, but it turned out to be perfect for ensuring we explored as much of Sri Lanka as possible. I was also dreading the bus and train journeys, but they ended up being some of my favourite moments, thanks to meeting a wonderful group of strangers who quickly became friends. Suren's infectious energy and sense of fun brought everyone together, making the journey full of laughter and creating bonds. I loved that I met people from different walks of life that I would never normally meet and even better that everyone was in their 30s and 40s!

Celebrating my birthday during the trip was one of the many highlights; I felt truly special and appreciated. I needed extra care on two occasions, and I couldn't have been better looked after—Suren was exceptionally caring and attentive.

I was debating using different tour companies before booking my trip given the cost but I'm so glad I chose Flash Pack...worth every penny.

They are not understanding and they refuse to refund you on your deposit after doing your research and learning that there’s very little to no diversity in the trip. How do they expect you to go on a trip where there’s a high chance you’ll feel uncomfortable? Isn’t the whole fun of a fun trip to have a good time and feel comfortable making new friends? Terrible customer service

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I have never traveled alone before and this trip has set the bar really high. The guides were amazing, the group got along so well we are actually planning tow more trips with each other. The thought that went into the itinerary and planning was fantastic. I will be booking with Flash Pack again!
