We had a very eventful summer here at June Homes and I have a couple of important announcements to share: 1. June has turned EBITDA positive earlier this year at $54M+ ARR scale while growing net revenue by more than 60% YoY 2. Our COO and longtime June champion Mauricio Zuniga has become the company’s new CEO. I’ve transitioned to the Chairman role. 3. June’s shareholders helped fund a new tech enabled real estate investment platform NextStory Capital. We’re excited to partner with a seasoned entrepreneur Daniel Cohen as NextStory’s Co-founder and CEO. Dan previously founded and sold Sentral, a >$2 Billion AUM real estate company. Why do 99% of owners require arbitrary year-long leases? Why do apartments come unfurnished in America, and furnished housing is so expensive?” Asking those questions led me to start June Homes. Today, June operates more than 3,000 units in 10 U.S. markets with more than $54M of Gross Revenue per year. Earlier this summer we turned EBITDA positive. We’ve reached a place now where it’s time for our leadership team to evolve to meet the company’s current needs. Our longtime June champion, previously our COO, Mauricio Zuniga has been appointed as the company’s new CEO, and I am transitioning from CEO to the Board Chairman role. Mauricio will drive June into its next phase of growth, progressing toward our long-term vision. I’m confident that he will exceed all expectations as an experienced leader who is resilient, strategic, and wants our team to win together.  Today, June also announces its partnership with NextStory Capital - an independent real estate investment platform that acquires multi-family assets to be operated by June Homes (PropCo x OpCo relationship). NextStory is led by a seasoned real estate entrepreneur Daniel Cohen who previously built and sold Sentral (>$2 Billion AUM). With this new partnership, June will expand its managed portfolio even faster and provide better customer experience to its residents by controlling entire buildings owned by NextStory. NextStory will be able to scale its real estate investment platform with one operator that drives above market returns to its investors.
