In honor of Pride Month, TikTok is spotlighting LGBTQ+ creators who use the app to make change with their content, naming 12 social media stars as LGBTQ+ Trailblazers. The announcement of this special cohort is a part of TikTok's month-long "Pride Together" celebration and in-app programming, and acknowledges a dozen LGBTQ+ creators who creatively drive awareness to important causes and spread encouragement and empowerment to all.

“The power of our community lies within the diverse voices who are driving culture, influence and inspiration across the LGBTQ+ community and beyond,” TikTok said in a statement. “To welcome Pride this year, we're delighted to share the next generation of LGBTQ+ TikTok Trailblazers in the US. These creators are a driving force in unlocking the power of creativity to make meaningful change, drive awareness of important causes, and embrace our collective journeys in finding pride.”

The 2022 class of TikTok Trailblazers represent both a diverse range of experiences across the LGBTQIA+ community and a diverse range of content. From vlogs to comedy skits to cooking tutorials to book roundups to spiritual and astrology-Tok, these TikTokers are using their platforms within each corner of the app to inspire authenticity and de-stigmatize their identities through visibility.

TikTok will be on the ground at this year's Los Angeles Pride Parade, in every sense — the app serves as the official sponsor for the L.A. Pride Parade and Festival, and will debut a float in the parade on Sunday, June 12.
