“We've suffered this tragedy around us, our neighbors, our ohana need help.
“We're using resources from my farm and farmland, and we're setting up an area where people can connect with each other.
“Because we're right on the edge of Lahaina, some of these people are going to have to do what they need to do from grieving to rebuilding, and they need to have an option that's close.
“We’re building-out tiny homesteads as interim housing for Lahaina families to be able to stay in West Maui. These will be given for FREE for families to live in and be able to put on their land when it is safe to do so.
“We are using 100% of everything that comes in through our fundraiser to go directly into housing/shelter solutions and to our farm and food programs. We can make a huge impact, our community needs long-term, sustainable answers . We're here.
“We need to be helping each other and we can't necessarily rely on the government to do it. They're so overwhelmed right now that we need to stand on our own two feet. I live off grid. I live this way. I grow food. So I can help feed you and share what we have. I say this with the most humility and respect, I know what everyone's going through. We're here, and we're here to help.
