Things are just different for women in this world – we’re always aware of our surroundings in a way that most men aren’t.
Are those footsteps behind me? Is this block lit or should I walk a different way? Am I okay traveling to this city by myself? Am I okay taking this elevator by myself? Am I okay staying for one more drink after my friends have left? Am I okay just opening the door for a pizza delivery when I’m home alone?
It’s not that we live our lives in fear; it’s just it can get exhausting thinking about our personal safety all the time, and I was never the type of person to carry some big panic button on my keychain.
So when Ray and I came up with the idea for invisaWear® in college, we didn’t set out to create a billion-dollar business or the next big tech must-have. It was really a passion project that stemmed from my own experiences.
Our goal is to help more people say yes to all the wonderful experiences life can offer – and do it with all the safety, confidence, and freedom we deserve.
