🚗 Almost 1,000 miles, 40+ visits and more podcasts than you can shake a stick at*. 🛣️ Having spent the lion's share of the last two weeks on the road visiting existing and prospective customers, I've come away more energised and up for the fight than ever. 🍷 Friends will often say "it must be amazing seeing your product on shelves" and whilst that's true, I would much rather see an empty space where our product once was...! 🎬 Getting our wines onto shelves and into wine lists is half the battle, but it really is only the beginning. 📚 Educating teams on your product, inspiring them to tell stories on your behalf and infusing them with the understanding of why your wines are different is a mammoth task. 🗣️ And that assumes you have people to do that for you, it's even harder when you're one of hundreds, if not thousands of products on-shelf, and you have a second or two to grab someone's attention, engage them in your offering and compel them to purchase. 💡 Lots of learnings, lots to do, but all fuel on our mission to provide our customers with better options at certain moments, drinking or not. *podcasts regularly gave way to obligatory Funk & Soul playlists, but I honestly feel like I've spent a week in the car with Dan Pope and his various guests Olivia Ferdi Juliet Barratt Aaron Duffett Spencer Matthews
