The best handled hperiod.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is probably unpopular but it really is the best handheld I've ever had. Why? The games look good, it's so comfortable in your hands, it can be played on my TV, there's the home VS console, and most importantly the games! I'm an 80's kid and there's so many games from my youth. Plus, they're adding NEW indie games which is so amazing. I can't wait to see what comes out next. I also love that most of the games are physical and are definitely worth collecting! It's just such an amazing device. I can go and on! But finally, you can get one for yourself, get one or more for the kids, and even add the VS home console to play with family and friends! All the prices are affordable and fair!

Rough start, but like it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a rocky start with this console, but now I am enjoying it. You need to find a good "brick" to use with the charging cord, or it will not charge properly. Make sure to download the new firmware also, or it won't charge properly. System is only compatible with some headphones. It will not work with standard 3.5mm Apple headphones. There are a lot of great new scrolling shooters available for system, but without any button assignment options or auto fire, you better have a lot of dexterity in your thumb, or you won't be able to play them for long. All that said, I did get it to charge correctly and bought some alternate headphones that work. Tate mode a bit worthless to me, with no auto fire options. Maye they will add controller options with a firmware update. But even with all those issues, I really am enjoying it now! No other issues, screen is high quality and controls and unit feel good. I like to support these smaller business too.

A must have!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the new upgraded Evercade EXP. This is a handheld like the original. This has upgrades across the board. Better screen, better video Output, more power etc. The 3 Evercade systems are: The Original, The VS, (not a handheld is great for multiplayer) and this newest addition. All cartridge based games, (with the exception of this newest one, it has many built in games). Just Get one, they are fun.

Really good retro handheld
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time buying retro handhelds, and I must say it feels and plays well. The 18 Capcom games inside with the Irem cartridge bundle is a great deal. Few issues I did have were the light bleed in the bottom of the handheld and the volume isn't loud enough but overall good product.

So much of an improvement over the older model.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better than the first one. It includes HDMI out and Wifi connectivity. Decent battery life and still supports all the older games. Also, a new feature is Tate (as in rotate) mode. You can use this mode to play vertical shooters using the screen sideways. This limits you to two button shooters but that is a lot of shooters. I hope thy expand the selection as there are only about 14 games that currently support this mode.

Q: QuestionAre there any plans to restock this item in the near future?
Asked by Remnant777.
- A:Answer This isn't really an answer but I contacted the manufacturer through their website asking if they'd be sending more stock to BestBuy. That was a month ago and they did not respond or even acknowledge the question.

Q: QuestionCan I get this in any other color so far?
Asked by Qupu.
- A:Answer Sadly, it is only white right now. There was a black limited edition with 5000 units sold but it sold out immediately. As it is gaining popularity out here in the USA, I'm confident more colors will come!

Q: Questioncan you play 2 players with this?
Asked by light.
- A:Answer You can actually get the Evercade VS (home console), which is ten dollars cheaper with the premium pack. The premium pack has 2 controllers and comes with Technōs and Data East packs while the original only has one and only comes with Technōs. The premium pack is $129.99 dollars and the original is $99.99, so there you go! I hope this answered your question. + P.S. If you have any Evercade cartridges already, they also work for the VS. You can actually put in two consoles at once!
