honestly amazing!

I’m honestly so impressed! I’ve always had iron/ferritin deficiency and being in my third trimester certainly wasn’t helping. I took 2 Ironbiotic tablets every second day religiously for 2 weeks and my ferritin raised from 17 to 58! I’ve had no horrible side effects that I’ve struggled with before either. Couldn’t recommend this product any more

It seems to be helping !

My doctor was concerned about my iron levels (too low after menopause) and asked me to take a doctor recommended iron supplement. I did and my iron levels dropped even further. I then decided to take matters in my own hands and found the IronBiotic from the Natal Naturopath as well as natural, organic beef liver capsules. I took all these supplements as recommended and now, three months later, my iron levels have improved. The ferritin still needs to go higher but it also has improved from my last blood test. My doctor said I should continue with what I am doing and I will certainly do that. I don't have any issues with both the supplements, no stomach pain or anything. I just re-ordered the IronBiotic recently and will also get more of the beef liver soon.

SO Good!

I have been hunting for an iron supplement for a loooong time. I found Natal Naturopath by accident and, although the warnings on the website told me it was 'not to treat iron deficiency' (confusing - why else take a supplement), I bought my first two bottles. I have now been taking them for 2 months and my T'ferrin reading is up from 27 to 29 and Ferritin up from 36 to 41. Still a little ways to go but it works! I feel more energetic and sleep better. I seem to have AGS (awaiting results) and so the best thing about these supplements is that they are vegan. Love them, thank you.

I cannot recommend this enough!! I started off on the standard chemist recommended pre natal and I have never been so sick in my life I thought the horrific symptoms I was experiencing were normal morning sickness and genuinely wondered how I would survive pregnancy. 2 days after switching to evernatal all my symptoms disappeared and I found myself loving being pregnant! My baby and I are a super healthy 16 weeks along now and we owe it all to this vitamin

My ferritin went from 14 to 27 in 3 weeks at 32 weeks pregnant taking every second night with orange juice.
Never had results like that in previous pregnancies with other iron supplements.
Thank you!!

After years of trying to use tablets to increase my iron, I’ve finally found one that works. I still have a way to go before my iron levels are optimal, but I’m so glad I found this product. I’ll be using this for years to come.

I’ve been taking EverNatal since the birth of my little girl (5 months) and can not recommend highly enough. I exclusively breastfeed her so I knew from the beginning I would need a good supplement in addition to my diet to avoid exhaustion and postnatal depletion. I love that they don’t include Iron, and that they have the correct dosages for all their ingredients as most supplements are sorely lacking. I have felt AMAZING in my postpartum journey and I largely put this down to these. I recommend them to all my soon to be & current mama friends. Do it, you won’t regret it.

More about us, our services & our pregnancy supplements:

How can a pregnancy naturopath support me during my pregnancy journey?

A pregnancy naturopath can support both you and your baby during pregnancy by optimising your fertility nutrition, managing pregnancy symptoms with natural remedies, providing guidance on exercise and stress management, recommending prenatal tests, and preparing you for labour and delivery. They can also offer postpartum support for recovery and breast milk production.

What are prenatal supplements?

Prenatal supplements are dietary supplements designed to support the nutritional needs of women during pregnancy. These supplements typically contain vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that are essential for the healthy growth and development of the foetus.

Taking a prenatal vitamin is recommended for all pregnant women to support the nutritional needs of both the mother and the developing foetus.

It is important to note that vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet. A prenatal vitamin should be taken in conjunction with a balanced diet to achieve optimal health for a healthy pregnancy.

What are postnatal vitamins, and why are they important?

Postnatal vitamins support the nutritional needs of women after giving birth, containing higher levels of vitamins and minerals important for recovery, such as iodine, selenium, vitamin D, and B vitamins, like B12 and folate.

These vitamins promote maternal health and support lactation. Consult with a healthcare provider before taking postnatal vitamins, as they may not be appropriate for everyone and can interact with other medications or supplements.

What are postnatal supplements, and when should they be taken?

Postnatal supplements are dietary supplements that support the nutritional needs of women after childbirth, aiding in supporting maternal health and supporting lactation. They may contain vitamins, minerals, probiotics, or herbal supplements. They can be taken once the mother is ready after childbirth, but it's best to consult with a healthcare provider first. It's important to follow the recommended dosage and frequency to avoid harmful effects.

What can I expect during a naturopathic consultation?

At The Natal Naturopath, we conduct an extensive case history review during your first naturopathic consultation to assess your health status, including medical history, gut health, genetics, nutrition, and lifestyle. We create an individualised treatment plan that includes prescriptions, supplements, herbal medicine, diet, and lifestyle recommendations based on this consultation as well as blood test interpretation. We may conduct further investigations and pathology tests and guide you through your results during your naturopathic consultation.

How can fertility naturopathy help me conceive?

Fertility naturopathy aims to identify and treat imbalances or deficiencies affecting natural conception. A thorough assessment of medical history, lifestyle, and health status is conducted to identify factors contributing to infertility. Treatment may include nutritional counselling, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and supplements to improve fertility and reproductive health. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals may be utilised.

What is the role of DHA in pregnancy?

DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid crucial for your baby’s brain and eye development during pregnancy. Adequate intake has been associated with improved cognitive function and visual acuity in children and may reduce the risk of preterm labour and postpartum depression. DHA can be obtained through fatty fish and DHA pregnancy supplements.

EPA is another source of omega-3 fatty acid that is known for its anti-inflammatory effects and potential benefits for cardiovascular health. Some prenatal supplements and fish oil supplements are specifically formulated to contain higher amounts of DHA and EPA to support foetal and maternal health.

What is Ironbiotic, and how does it support my health?

Ironbiotic is a supplement that combines iron and probiotics to support red blood cell production and support iron levels in the body. Iron is essential for the formation of red blood cells during pregnancy, while probiotics aid in the absorption of nutrients and support gut health.

What is EverNatal, and does it support maternal health?

EverNatal is our signature prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal vitamin supplement that supports maternal health. It contains essential vitamins and minerals, including methyl-folate, choline, vitamin D, and vitamin B12 which supports both maternal health and healthy foetal development.

What are thyroid supplements, and how do they support thyroid health?

Thyroid supplements are dietary supplements that contain vitamins, minerals, and herbs believed to support thyroid health. They often contain iodine, selenium, zinc, and copper, which are important for thyroid hormone production and conversion. Some supplements also contain adaptogenic herbs like ashwagandha or Rhodiola to support thyroid function.

What is a women's probiotic, and how can it benefit my health?

A women's probiotic is a supplement containing beneficial bacteria believed to support women's health. Probiotics help maintain a healthy gut bacteria balance and may include strains like Lactobacillus crispatus and Lactobacillus jensenii to support a healthy vaginal microbiome. Probiotics may have potential health benefits, including supporting normal immune function, reducing inflammation, improving digestion, and preventing and treating vaginal infections and other gynaecological conditions.
