Fortetropin is the active ingredient in YOLKED®. It is a natural fertilized egg yolk-based food product processed with a patented low temperature process that retains the natural bioactivity of the biomolecules found in egg yolk. Fortetropin has been shown to enhance muscle mass in three peer-reviewed, published clinical studies.

Fortetropin is a powerful muscle builder. It is clinically shown to:

• Reduce levels of myostatin

Fortetropin helps to naturally reduce levels of myostatin in your body. Myostatin is a protein in your body that “puts the brakes” on the development of new muscle tissue. Fortetropin also increases the activity of pathways in your body that promote the development of new muscle tissue while decreasing the activity of pathways in your body that lead to the degradation of muscle tissue. 

Myostatin is a protein in your body that “puts the brakes” on the development of new muscle tissue. Myostatin acts to ensure that you do not gain too much muscle mass; gaining too much muscle mass would put strain on your skeletal system and could possibly lead to fractures. Reducing myostatin levels will help you gain more lean muscle mass.

Fortetropin is manufactured by processing fertilized egg yolk with a patented manufacturing process that involves pasteurization and drying at low temperatures. Unlike traditional heat pasteurization methods, our patented process preserves the natural bioactivity of the complex biomolecules that are naturally present in egg yolk while destroying harmful microorganisms.

The eggs are sourced sustainably and ethically at leading manufacturers and distributors of egg products, operating in modern and efficient egg-processing plants. 

The egg yolks used in YOLKED are a rich yellow-orange in color, as the color of Fortetropin suggests.

According to the clear, impactful results found in three peer-reviewed, published clinical studies, the answer is yes.

YOLKED can be eaten on its own or mixed with foods/drinks like yogurt, protein shake, or a fruit smoothie. We recommend YOLKED not be mixed with water as it is not water soluble. 

YOLKED should not be cooked with or encounter high heat. Cooking with YOLKED will denature the proteins in the product and render it less effective. 

The recommended daily dosage of Fortetropin is 6.6g, the amount found in one serving of YOLKED.

In the University of Tampa clinical study there was no significant difference between the control group that consumed one serving of Fortetropin per day and the group that took three servings per day. However, we have received anecdotal testimonials from athletes who claim taking multiple doses per day increased their results. 

The clinical research done on Fortetropin does not indicate a specific time of day in which it should be consumed. YOLKED is often taken by athletes and fitness enthusiasts as part of a post-workout nutritional program, however it can be enjoyed at any time of day. 

For optimal results, Fortetropin should be consumed in conjunction with resistance training. 

There are two main differences between taking YOLKED and eating eggs:

• Fortetropin is derived from fertilized egg yolk while eggs bought at supermarket are typically not fertilized.
• Fortetropin is not cooked. By avoiding contact with heat, Fortetropin retains its full nutrient profile and muscle-building efficacy.

Raw fertilized egg yolk may contain many harmful microorganisms that can make you very sick. Microorganisms that are associated with raw egg yolk such as Salmonella can cause infections that can possibly even lead to death.   

In addition to enhanced safety, YOLKED is delicious, has a long shelf life, and is convenient to store/transport/use.

While cooking eggs destroys harmful microorganisms that can make you sick, it also destroys some of the bioactivity in egg yolk that provide the product’s potent efficacy.

During the cooking process, proteins become denatured, and lipids become oxidized, thus reducing bioactivity.

Fertilized egg yolk is enriched in proteins involved in angiogenesis along with proteins involved in host defense when compared with unfertilized egg yolk.

The serving size of YOLKED contains 6.6g of Fortetropin. This is equal to 2/3 of one egg yolk. One whole egg contains 187 mg of cholesterol. 6.6 grams of Fortetropin contains 125 mg of cholesterol.

In short, it doesn’t. WADA’s ruling does not pertain to YOLKED.

Firstly, YOLKED is Certified for Sport by NSF, a universally respected organization lauded as the gold standard in testing by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency). NSF has performed numerous, rigorous tests on YOLKED and has stated firmly and unequivocally that it does not contain any banned substances.

Secondly, it’s important to remember that Fortetropin is a simple, all-natural food – with a nutritional fact panel – presented in a unique form. For Fortetropin to be banned, eggs would need to be banned.

In our clinical study involving healthy males between 18-21 years of age, we did not observe any significant differences in serum cholesterol levels between the groups that consumed Fortetropin and the group that consumed the placebo. Please consult your physician if you are concerned.
