Floral Design 123: 7/20 6:30pm

Start enjoying the practice of floral design with our easy-to-learn 123 style that makes floral arrangements look intentional and interesting. You'll be able to confidently select stems from the shop or your garden with the knowledge and skill to craft your own centerpieces foryour gatherings.

Details:

Each participant will receive all the flowers, vase, and techniques to create a small table centerpiece, which will include: 

• 15-20 stems including a variety of flowers and greens
• reusable vase, floral chicken wire, and floral snips to take home

Class will cover:

• Crafting a color palette
• Conditioning your stems for the vase
• Preparing the vase for designing
• Developing the shape of your arrangement
• Critique and assistance in floral "secrets of the trade" to make a standout design

When: Thursday July 20, 6:30-7:30pm

Location: 5 Main Street Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706. Parking lot is adjacent to the shop, with wheelchair accessible spaces. This space is wheelchair, walker, & cane accessible (no steps).
