Soltanus Acoustics Euridiche Flagship Electrostatic Headphones

This is the official discussion thread about the Euridiche headphones.

So, finally I am able to share with everyone something that I’ve been holding onto for a while. Something that I wanted to release for a while, and something that I put a lot of energy into.

I wrote an article “Soltanus Acoustics Euridiche — The Full Story” and published it to Head-Fi. If anyone is interested in over an hour-long read, have a look:

Interesting. One reviewer said they are equivalent to the Focal Utopia.

I wonder how they compare to the Raal Requisite SR1a “ear field” headphones.

Raal is also in Serbia, so I might be able to tell you about that in the future. However, I still don’t think I have put out enough of detailed articles like this one to make myself qualified to write about the SR1a.

A user from Head-Fi own several high-end headphones. He just so happens to own both the Focal Utopia and the iBasso SR2. He said the two are very alike and he sometimes even prefers the SR2 over the Utopia. If I remember correctly, SR2 is getting more listening time.

I own the iBasso SR2, and I can say that the Euridiche is nothing alike it. It is an entirely new experience — much like the experience people talk about the SR1a.

I have both the Utopia and the Raal SR1a, and I love them both. Of course it is critical what you drive them with. I drive the SR1a’s with the dCS Bartók and the Raal HS1b - and the Utopias with the Bartok and it’s internal HP amplifier. Very different experiences - but both incredibly satisfying.

So much good sound is produced in Eastern Europe. What would competition look like without these guys?

Can’t disagree
