Description

This Introductory workshop provides an overview of “The Theradelic Approach: Psychedelic Therapy: Perspective, Preparation, and Practice,” as detailed in the book by Sunny Strasburg, LMFT. While not a full training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, this course offers participants the fundamentals of excelling as adept psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy providers. Recent research underscores how psychedelics enhance the efficacy of psychotherapy, augmenting collaborative efforts toward clients’ mental health and resilience. By delving into the transformative impact of psychedelic medicines, both in psychology and clinical practice, the course underscores their potential to revolutionize the field. Beyond being a practical guide, the course delves into the core of the ongoing psychedelic renaissance and its role in combating the global mental health crisis, offering a comprehensive pathway to becoming a skilled and attuned psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist.
