And if we’re committed, driven, passionate—if we believe so hard it hurts, “one day” comes while we’re too busy to notice. Here’s to all of the somedays and one days that get to happen. For us, for me, The Imaginarium Wonder Emporium’s Cirque Couture line is one of them. About the line...Conceived and designed by K. And as with all things Imaginarium, the story isn't lacking a bit of synchronistic magic. "I always wanted to design on Broadway and now I am designing on 'Broadway' in San Antonio, Texas," Arellano laughs. Laura's studio assistant, Lou Ferrigno the cat has been a big help in her creative process. We thank him for his contributions to the collection...even down to sitting on finished pieces in approval. pictured is the full wardrobe curated and designed as part of the Cirque Couture collection for The Living Circus film And with so much more to come. We are so happy to share our vision that became a reality with you.

Taking a moment to appreciate a fellow magic maker; authentic recommendation from
The Imaginarium Wonder Emporium founder + key artisan, K. Day Gomez.
The Imaginarium Wonder Emporium founder + key artisan, K. Day Gomez.
"I was immediately impressed with this organic Hawaiian-made brand ZEN+MAGIC which offers handmade and distilled energy sprays by alchemist Shani Momi Odo. From her Honolulu base, she sources primarily organic, all natural holistic ingredients to create these aromatic blends, each of which offering a different physiological response. What first drew my attention was Z+M's gorgeous packaging and equally impressive, easy to navigate website.
Fast forward to experiencing four of her mainstays first-hand and I have to say the fragrances are as mystical and enchanting as one may imagine. Extremely fragrant upon first spray, the mist dissipates naturally as it's intended to. As Shani explains, these tinctures are meant to act as smokeless smudging, much like using sage or palo santo. It only lingers for a time while it refreshes and neutralizes the energy in your space, on surfaces or your body.

Of all the amazing scents, I'm torn between Elixir and Absinthe as favorites. I highly recommend giving her a follow and shopping the ZEN+MAGIC website. You will not be disappointed whichever blend you choose. And for those witches and spiritualists out there with sensitive sinus or family members who can't endure the smoke of incense or smudging, these are an excellent natural alternative offering the same results. We here at TIWE look forward to following her journey in fine wildcrafting."

Explanation as described on the Z+M website... WHAT IS AN ENERGY SPRAY?"ZEN+MAGIC energy sprays work much like a typical smudge spray. They cleanse and refresh the energy of you and your space. However, UNLIKE smudge sprays, our energy sprays are designed to clear, then leave a specific energetic imprint as a foundation for you to proceed with your desired activity. For example, grounded energy prior to meditation, protective & grounded energy in the workspace, or stimulating green energy prior to manifestation work.... |
Ideally, smudge and energy sprays should NOT linger. After the scent dissipates, cleansing and setting of you and the space is complete. A lingering scent occurs when the spray has attached to a stagnant energy it is working to release. Give it a bit of time to "unstick" these heavier energies then gently dissipate, taking the stagnant energy with it and creating an energy infused blank canvas for you to begin your inner or outer work!
ZEN+MAGIC smudge and energy sprays are NOT room fragrances or perfumes, which often use artificial fragrances that last longer, but don't offer the same healing benefits of the naturally derived botanicals. The intention of ZEN+MAGIC energy sprays is to shift the vibe, then dissipate rather than overstimulate."

Earth day received a grand continuance via our first ever MAKER'S FAIR at the majestic Parish Arts building in downtown San Antonio on Saturday, March 24. Though The Imaginarium booth was not present in full swing due to last minute hospitalization of founder K. Day, we were beautifully and whimsically represented by none other than Sideshow icon and friend of TIWE, Miss Lita Deadly, "The Human Pincushion" and her gorgeous masks. All the vendors, nonprofits and musicians (provided by Pineapple House Platforms) created an uplifting warm environment with one key community driven focus: SUSTAINABILITY. *photograph of the second floor space overlooking the stained glass window of The Nazarene by Laura Arellano |
Photographer Reiko Rodriguez was kind enough to be our eyes over the event and we are excited to share his first-hand account.
"Immediately getting there as I walked up the stairs, I could hear the music. The vibe were warm and welcoming. Everyone was full of joy doing something they love with passion, which is one of the greatest gifts in life that some never get to experience.
Creativity was definitely in the building. The force was immaculate. I got a chance to interact with and meet every individual. Some of them were a bit camera shy at first. Then it happened--- I captured 'that' moment. Honestly that’s my favorite part about photography; meeting new people and having the ability to make people smile and laugh. Even if it’s only for a split second. I got the chance to see and capture that happiness, the mood I felt and wanted to share it with them."

"I share what I see everyday through my own eyes. Words can’t explain. Life moves fast and being able to capture positive moments and joy is the best feeling. We all have dreams of where we are going and forget to enjoy the ride while we travel on the way to that destination.
I’m originally from Colorado. I have always been a creative in the art scene. I've been welcome among all sorts of creatives. Connecting with others like yourself is such an opportunity--- it’s okay and excepted to be different as we all view the world through our own thoughts and vision. I say take your time but don’t waste it." ~R. Rodriguez
