I work 10 hours a day, and I spend more than two hours on transportation every day. I am doing master's, and running a small business beside my work. Once a friend asked me why not to join them in an activity, I answered her that I don't have enough time, I barely get 6 hours of sleep and live for around 5 hours a day. She told me "6 hours! You sleep a lot", that day I was really shocked and gave up in changing such a work mentality. 10 working hours is extremely high, and I believe that less hours will be more productive since the workers gonna have social life and they gonna be happier. I doubt that who works more than 10 hours would have a social life. 🤦♂️

I've really been needing sensory rest lately. What I do is: no matter how busy my day is, I take a 5-10 mins break after any work sprint and make sure I don't use my phone no matter what. A quick walk is great too.
I was feeling really exhausted this week, and it was because I wasn't having enough fun. Last night so shattered I went out for dinner with some of my favourite people in the world, we laughed, ended up belting out power ballads in a Karaoke bar in Soho, but I feel so much more recharged (albeit very much in need of an early night).
Sensory rest is one you don’t hear mentioned often.
Sufficient rest is how you live a productive life!
Start with the areas where you're most lacking in rest and work from there.
Great content! I started writing down my to-do notes a couple of years ago and immediately felt more relaxed. It is also a great satisfaction to see the progress of lots of completed tasks. Which app do you use and recommend for writing to-do lists? Currently I’m using Google Keep.
