Brilliant by Paddy when the world is at his feet he delivers an immensely important message to us men. Paddy is an immense talent who is incredibly humble, insanely hard working and understands the importance of values. Very proud to have him train at my facility and be part of the AF family. Please listen and take in the message

Reading the comments in this thread the pain and frustration is overwhelming. But there are some people who get it and are trying to make a difference and I include the charity I work for - The OLLIE Foundation. We are clear that; 1. Professionals supporting people with suicidal ideation are often not trained in suicide intervention, prevention or post-vention - even thought they desperately want to be.  2. Lack of education has helped create a huge misunderstanding in both the public as well as many health care provider's understanding of suicide, that leads many to assume suicide is always indicative of mental illness. 3. Ironically it's not just a lack of education that has caused this - suicide research and much of the existing suicide prevention available has given considerable attention to 'mental illness' as a suicide risk factor. This association is so robust that the World Health Organization (WHO) noted that it underlies one of the most prevalent myths of suicide, namely that “only people with mental disorders are suicidal.”  cont -

What a guy!! From my experience tho, it’s not about talking, it’s about the right person listening. A harder skill to master than many think

Watched last night, great event. I think the London crowd embrace UFC like nowhere else. Paul Craig 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 was a little disappointing and such a cruel, freak injury, for Aspinall in the main. Of course, Paddy was the real star and stole the show, again. What an ascent and to use his mic time not to build more hype but to deliver such an important message shows wisdom beyond his years. I think we will be seeing him on the ‘real’ numbered PPV events soon.

The importance of Paddy’s message goes without saying and hopefully will go viral and start a much needed conversation across the country🙏 If your loved one, friend, or colleague reached out, and you would like to offer more than a shoulder, The OLLIE Foundation can help with that 🧡 We can help you feel confident to know what more you can do and say to help you and your shoulder keep your mate safe for now. Our next free, open access, online prevention training takes place on the 30th August at 10am - BUT if you can get a group of people together we will happily put on another one in Ricky's name, and for Paddy and all those who have been bereaved and are now statistically at higher risk of suicide and for all the men who need to start talking. To book your fully funded place on the 30th August - https://lnkd.in/dr4arWCp To book an in-house session message me here:)

As someone commented in relation to this clip on Twitter, The message somehow seems more real and harder hitting because it’s delivered by a bloke who “looks like a miniature Hercules, [and says it] with such a thick Scouse accent”. I love also that Paddy persists to the end of the message despite microphone man seeming to try to cut him short
